On TV was shown the massacre at Virginia Tech University, 31 were killed. The suspect, cho, a South Korean diagnosed with selective mutism, read about the earlier massacre at Columbine University. He began to write a novel, studied a course in English. He submitted his proposal for a novel to a publisher who rejected it. Cho was so disappointed, he wanted to be noticed, seeking love and recognition. He said he had no friends, but he had a girl friend who called him Spanky, and he called her Jelly. When he was diagnosed with mutism, he was sent to a hospital, then he was released. His writings as he continued writing, reflected destructive fantasies and destructing himself. The NBC News reported that he began to see himself as “Let the revolution begin…”
