Able to convey timeless beauty is Blake Lively who in a fluke of nature and science has her character’s appearance stay constant our time. While Adaline’s strikingly gorgeous looks remain the same through the decades all those things (and people) around her change.

    Because of this freak of nature the young woman becomes a master of disguise, constantly running away from her past and treading oh so very carefully on the present and Into the future. Full of joy and heartache and ample melancholy moments this moody three hanky movie also benefits from the strong presence of aging actor heavyweights Harrison Ford (Star Wars) and Ellen Burstyn, Magical San Francisco provides a very soothing backdrop to the worldly pursuits of a very special woman in a dreamy 113 minute trip down memory lane to be admired and respected for its hope and enduring message.
