  • Denise Laurel is happy to announce on social media how her doctors declared her cancer-free following a recent check-up.

“Hi guys. I know some of you have been wondering what I’ve been up to. I’ve been on a break, just getting healthy. Today is a beautiful day because I just found out (I) do not have cancer,” Denise said in on a video she posted on Instagram.

Denise shared she had herself checked after discovering cystic growths on her body.

“(But) I didn’t worry because God always have my back. I’m just a very cysty person. I had a mass on my breast, lymphnodes, on my ovaries, but it’s all good,” she said.

The “Modern Girls” host went on to advise her followers to get checked as well.

“You’re never too young to get sick. So be in the know of what’s going on in your body. Enjoy life, God loves you. He got your back, you don’t even have to worry,” she said.

Aside from hosting “Modern Girls,” Denise will be releasing an album soon.
She is also busy preparing for her wedding with basketball player Sol Mercado. (K. Valeza. Mb)
