A joyous Irene Yatco expressed confidence during the recent official launching of her candidacy as Conservative MP for Vancouver-East riding. With the turnout of all the guests who trooped to Kentizen Fuzion last January 15, Yatco can’t describe the feeling she had that night. “With the support of all the Filipino people, who needs a miracle to win,” declares Yatco. A community leader, Yatco has the reason to smile after seven fellow candidates from different riding attended her launching. Not only that, the Honourable Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney and the Honourable Senator Yonah Martin was also present to boost her morale.
Overall, Yatco was in high spirit that night, stating that someone said that day it was suppose to rain but turned out the other way. “It’s a good sign , as far as I’m concerned,” she said, pertaining to the good weather that night, contrary to the weather forecast that there will be showers.
