Performers who were minors were represented by their parents in the signing of the four-paged contract and a special power of attorney that would bind both parties for a year with a “four-year annual irrevocable option.” “It is our responsibility to hone your skills,” announced Socorro “Babes” Newland, COO/managing director of Surrey-based Maxipro Entertainment, Inc. “We are planting the seeds for you so that someday those interested to hire your services as talents will come to us and ask how much are they going to pay you.”

ABS-CBN’s newest Primetime Bida series, “Walang Hanggan,” reigned the national TV ratings last Monday (January 16) with 32.1% ratings beating the pilot episode of GMA’s ‘Legacy’ which only got 16.8%. The drama series topbilled by Susan Roces, Helen Gamboa, Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Julia Montes, and Coco Martin was also the talk of the town on the popular microblogging site Twitter, where Dawn and Susan became worldwide trending topics.

MANILA- Residents of Abella Court on Leveriza Street in San Andres Complex were not allowed to go out of their house or peek through their windows during the filming of “Bourne Legacy.” But the discomfort was nothing compared to the benefits received by the residents. The barangay tanods in the area said roofs of some houses have been repaired for the scene where there will be jumping from one roof to another.
