Sly humour and slapstick fun provide lots of ammunition in Potiche, a raucous import from France and E One films now hitting your funny bone at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas. Mistaken identities and family conflict are at the heart of Potishce. Told in French with English titles this film can be classified as a throwback to the old romantic comedies much akin to those made by Rock Hudson and Sandra Dee during the 1960s – namely light and fluffy.
