Hey, dude, there’s an election on May 2. You gotta vote! I do not normally write this way. I am not young. But I should use all I can to convince young Canadians to vote this coming General Election. If I could “tweet” or “blog” or “text” or “post” on Facebook for high voter turnout, I will. I was at a meeting with a Federal Minister. There was a young Persian lady who asked why she can drive a car at the age of 16, but cannot vote. The answer was academic, but the question was more important. There are young people who are anxious to have their voice heard at the polls. By the time they can vote, they probably gave up asking to be heard.
That’s why I have two reasons to ask young people to vote.
